This handy little thermometer is ideal for constant monitoring of fridge or freezer temperatures. The large clear display can be attached to the outside of the fridge using the magnet on the rear of the unit or with velcro fixing tape (supplied).The remote sensor then placed in the fridge and the door can be closed over wire.The thermometer incorporates a high and low temperature alarm which can be set by the user. This will warn if the fridge's temperature is too high or too low.This clever little thermometer also includes a maximum and minimum temperature function. This can be reset at any time and will record the highest and lowest temperatures reached.The display can be switched between room temperature and the external sensor temperature (fridge temperature) by the push of a button.The temperature can be displayed in either °C (Celcius/Centigrade) or °F (Fahrenheit).The external sensor is waterproof so the thermometer can also be used for monitoring outdoor temperature if the extrnal sensor is fed through a window.The thermometer can monitor room temperatures using its internal sensor in the range of -20°C ~ 50°C/-4°F ~122°F. Its external sensor will monitor temperature of between -50°C ~ 70°C/-58°F ~158°F. It is accurate to ±1°C/°F.It has a rapid response time to changes in temperature of 10 seconds.The external sensor has a lead length of 2 metres allowing it to be placed some distance from the fridge being monitored
